Fabio in Leeds!
On Wednesday 8th November, we welcome Fabio Ferracane to Leeds for a night of Sicilian wine and food across two venues: our shop on Regent Street and our friends and neighbouring restaurant Hern, just around the corner.
Fabio is one of the growers we import to the UK ourselves. His wines are made with mostly Catarratto on Sicily's west coast, and brim with Mediterranean sun. He’ll be joining us for a night of two halves:
Aperitivo: drop in to Wayward any time from 6pm to meet Fabio and taste through all of his latest releases, then stick around to enjoy the wines by the glass and bottle. No reservations and all welcome, just drop in any time.
Dinner: book a table at Hern from 6pm onwards to sit down for their all-Sicilian a la carte bar menu, with a selection of Fabio’s wines by the glass and bottle to wash it all down. Call by Wayward for a drink before and/or after your reservation. Still a few seats left so be sure to book today if you want to guarantee a spot, as walk-ins on the night will be limited!
The winemaker will begin the evening at Wayward then head over to Hern as the night progresses, pouring his wines in person as he goes!
