A stunning example of this highly Jura-specific red grape. The wine gives off the most wonderfully exotic cinnamon and toasted peppercorn aromas, which float above a delicate, silky body of red cherry and forest berry fruits. The grapes were macerated as whole bunches for two months, before being pressed to cuve until the following spring. Réve Éphémère is made up of 99% Poulsard from very old vines, blended with a few Pinot Noir vines that exist on the same plot. The grapes are destemmed and given 4 weeks on the skins, then pressed using a vertical rachet press before being blended with free-run juice and aged in fibreglass. Find out more.
