Region – Castilla Y León

Here at Wayward our large selection of natural red wine covers a broad dynamic range; from the most weightless, translucent expressions of the Jura, or juicy, perfumed Gamay from Beaujolais, through to more structured, robust examples from warmer, more Mediterranean climes, you’ll find them all listed here.

Reds to keep you warm in the winter and, yes, reds that you can throw into the ice bucket. From healthy, unique vineyard parcels managed with organic and biodynamic farming, the natural wine approach can yield wildly varying results in the cellar; we deal in classical appellation all the way through to the wild, raw outer limits.

La Senda
El Aqueronte 2019

Mencía grown at very high altitude, bringing out all the pretty, perfumed character of the grape. Floral aromas hover over spicy red fruits and a stony mineral backbone from the layers of slate and quartz in the soil. Pinot Noir heads are advised to investigate! Find out more.
